Matt Gardner – Amandine

This was shot a long long time ago, or at least it feels like it, when Buffalo Clover from Nashville were visiting Liverpool back in early summer 2011 but due to a few technical hitches (ie. uselessness), it’s taken a while to get this online. In fact, this was supposed to tie in with an exhibition in Liverpool called Honky Tonk and the session was recorded in the venue where the show was held, which is a beautiful building called The Bluecoat. Anyway the Honky Tonk exhibition inlcluded a short film I’d made about Liverpool singer Mike Badger and how he’d worked with a couple of American artists, before forming his current band, and that film will be shown on here later on in the year but first up is this ‘one of two tracks’ that we recorded with Buffalo Clover’s Matt Gardner whilst the band were on tour in the UK.
