Mike Badger & The Shady Trio – Thank Hank

I spent last Sunday hanging out in a cowboy themed barbers shop in Liverpool filming an interview with Mike Badger for a forthcoming exhibition at The Bluecoat which will be happening this summer and, of which, I’ll have more news shortly. Meanwhile, this song was filmed a while ago in the band’s rehearsal’s room and it marks the return of Brainface to editing duties for RoutesJukebox which means we’re going to be editing loads more new stuff in the forthcoming weeks with me working on some new acoustic performances and Brainface finishing off a short documentary about Jacqui & Bridie.  Anyway, it was never going to be long before the great Hank Williams made his presence known on RoutesJukebox and first up is this tribute to the country legend and a request to have him reinstated to the Grand Old Opry from where he was dismissed in 1952.
