This one’s a slight diversion from the usual country, folk and blues offerings on Routes Jukebox and it’s my first music video promo shoot for Liverpool band The Wicked Whispers. The shoot itself took place in the world’s biggest garden maze, which is just outside of Conway, and the final result was edited by Brainface. Find out more about the band here or check back here soon for the first of my SXSW videos.

[...] A couple of shots from The Wicked Whispers superb EP launch at The Kazimier on Saturday night. ‘The Dark Delights of The Wicked Whispers’ is the first release from the band and is a truly essential purchase for any fans of mid sixties British Psych (Syd Barret era Pink Floyd, Jimmy Campell’s 23rd Turn Off etc ). The EP is out now on the bands own Electone Records label as a limited edition (300 copies) 10″ Vinyl and is available in Probe Records or on-line here . Also, check out Mark McNulty’s brilliant video for the A-side Amanda Lavender here. [...]
